SHE AS WATER

She is the pool my body is found,

She is the lake I so often drown,

Hers is the ocean my body drifts,

Swallowed whole with a salty Kiss.

To fight her current I need not bother,

For she is as water,

She pulls me under.

Her smile a vertex eyes an undertow,

She is my siren an anchor of woe,

Why does her hold steal my breath?

Why must it always end in my death?

I know the answer,

I need not wonder,

For she is as water,

She pulls me under.
